Our panelists will review the October 2021 Supreme Court at mid-term. The panelists will highlight several of the blockbuster cases the Court heard this past fall, including NYSRPA v. Bruen, the Second Amendment case challenging New York’s concealed-carry licensing requirements, and the abortion-related cases (Whole Woman’s Health v. Jackson and Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization) out of Texas and Mississippi. They will also preview some of the cases set to be argued in the second half of the term, including Viking River Cruises v. Moriana (a case challenging the arbitrability of claims under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).
