Bay Area family law attorneys are being asked to address an increasing number of issues involving transgender parents and transgender/gender non-conforming children. This program will provide an overview of some of the issues these cases raise, including an analysis of the practical implications of recent legislative efforts to make CA a “sanctuary state” for transgender children needing gender affirming healthcare.
